Darryl was near Chicago this week and one of his distributors, the Palkos, pulled him away from all his work to do a little bass fishing. Darryl had a great time. The Palkos are really great people. It's so fun to be able to meet people from all over that are just incredible human beings. It makes you see that there are many great things going on all over the world contrary to all the news headlines.

Roll Those Eggs!
Well it wouldn't be Easter without destroying a dozen boiled eggs by rolling them down a rocky dirt hill, so Grandma and I took the boys and McKylee west of Aurora and let them roll. It was way past Easter but we just don't know of any great egg rolling hills in Heber so we stored them in the fridge and took them with us to Aurora since we didn't go down to our traditional Easterin' stomping grounds near Capital Reef for Easter this year.

APPLE party at JR Smith
Tonight was the APPLE party. They made instruments and then had a "noise" band at the end. The kids loved it and some of the ideas, like the bouncy balls on the end of skewers for drum sticks, were brilliant. I love that the school has extra little activities like this to unite the parents, the kids, and the school.

That works
Clint has really been into what he wears lately. Usually all he is super easy going so he doesn't really care, unless it is scratchy or has a tag that is. This was what he came up with today. Love it! I'm glad I'm not so concerned about other people's perceptions and I can just let him be him.

That is so Clint
It was McKylee's birthday today and we were down at Grandma's house so we got to celebrate with her! While she was opening her gifts Clint was just being Clint and this is what he came up with. :)

Tumbling Spring Show
The boys debuted their tumbling skills tonight. This was their first tumbling event since they started taking trampoline and tumbling back in September. They were pretty excited to be part of a show. They have a great time at tumbling. I think the hour and a half is a little long for Clint but he still has a good time-- what's not fun about flipping, jumping, diving, and running around for an hour and a half?

Bowling
I took the boys bowling tonight for our spring break activity. They had so much fun. Cole is really into bowling right now. They play it on the XBOX and though the physical aspect isn't the same for both, the pins falling down is. Cole would get so excited when he would get a "strike."(any time all his pins are down it's a strike). "Yessss! I godda strike!" Clint couldn't refrain from dancing when someone started up the jukebox and Kade had a few moves too. Kade didn't bowl his best so he was pretty down about it so I spent most of the night teaching him about being a good sport and not making the experience miserable for everyone just because you're not winning. It's not the first time we've had this discussion. He's so competitive so I don't know how many more times we'll have to have the discussion before it finally sticks.
