Brotherly Love
I love moments like these. The boys were all hanging out together on the couch. I hope they're always best buddies.
Weekend
Uncle Kelby came to hang out with us this weekend. The boys completely adore him so they were in Heaven all Memorial weekend. Darryl built another chicken coop this weekend for some friends. He sure enjoys wood work-- too bad it's such an expensive hobby. Darryl's mom, dad, brother Jason, Becky, Emma, and Conner all came up from Redmond on Saturday for a quick visit. It was sure fun to have a little get together. Before Kelby headed back to Logan on Monday we had a quick silly string fight.

KaNgaRoO zoO
The boys [Darryl included] had so much fun on the huge blow up slides and obstacle course at the Health Fair last Saturday that we had to plan a trip to Kangaroo Zoo. We all had a blast. Darryl and I were slightly disappointed because the slides at the Health Fair were a little higher but we still had a great 3 hours. I wish I could freeze moment. There is nothing better than to see your kids having the time of their lives. The boys also thought the room air cannons that shot balls were awesome. Cole hung out--too bad he wasn't quite old enough to enjoy the jumping area.

Two things at once
Darryl has been traveling a lot lately and when he does I tend to get a little stressed out as you can imagine. Tonight I was trying to change Cole's diaper and Clint repeatedly asked me to get his shirt on. I finally snapped a little and said, "Clint, I told you in a minute. I can't do two things at once!" He replied disgustedly, "You have two hands." I guess in need to get better at using each hand to help each child. :)

Funny things
As we drove down the street by the library today Clint noticed the hospital, "Hey Mom! That's where your baby popped out." "Yes, yes that is." What else do you say-- you just laugh when they catch you of guard like that.

"Heavenly Father" Song
We went and spent the week in Sevier Co. while Darryl was gone. On Sunday we went to church and my mom offered to take the boys down to Primary. Clint had never been to anything other than nursery in her ward so when she tried to take him to the Primary room he convinced her that that wasn't his class and marched her to the nursery room. My mom wasn't sure where he belonged so she left him in nursery. We decided rather than cause a commotion in the classes we'd just leave him there today, but we knew the Nursery ladies would figure out quickly that he wasn't in the right place. When my mom went to pick him up they told her about a funny thing he did. They asked the kids if they wanted to sing a song. Clint piped up and said he wanted to sing the Heavenly Father song. Not knowing what he meant they asked if it was "I'm a Child of God" or a few others. Disgusted in them he said, "No. It goes like this. . .Heavenly Father, are you really there? And do you hear and answer every childs' prayer? . . ." He continued to sing the whole song for them for singing time. They all loved it and said they were totally surprised that he knew and could sing the whole song by himself when they can't get any other nursery kid to sing a single word. They figured he wasn't suppose to be in nursery. :)

The boys(especially Kade) have wanted to go bowling for months but it just never seemed to happen so tonight I decided it was bowling night. The boys had such a great time. I loved watching their faces. They wanted to bowl all night long and if it were feasible and we didn't have anything else that had to get done I would have let them. Kade and Clint tied with a score of 84. They even beat their mom-- who bowled a 82[How sad is that! Hey, my first frame was a strike. It was all downhill after that.] Darryl was on fire with a 134. It was fun to see the boys with their unique ways of throwing the ball. Clint would run up with his tongue hanging out and to the side throw the ball and then squat to watch the result. He did get a strike once-- he was so excited. Kade's signature move was to run up throw the ball followed by falling to the floor where he'd proceed to watch for the result. He wanted SO much to get a strike but it just never happened--maybe next time. Cole spent the first few frames trying to eat his toy. I tried to capture his aggression but I'm not sure the pictures do it justice. He loves gnawing on that toy. He then fell asleep for the end of the game. A good time was had by all.

Floating Wand
We picked up a box of magic tricks at our neighbor's yard sale today. Kade and Clint have evolved into two little magicians since the purchase. Darryl taught Kade a floating wand trick and Kade thinks it's SO great! Clint likes to take the different trick tools and make up his own tricks. The most hilarious trick was the one that he showed me a cup and said, "There's nothing in my cup." To which I burst out laughing because it caught me off guard. The cup was full of foam squares.
Another common phrase he says is, "Ladies, and Gentlemen. Gentlemen. Gentlemen. There's nothing in my hat."
We also picked up a Mouse Trap game which the boys spent most of the day playing. Great spend of $1.
Mother's Day
I felt so thankful to be a mother today. There is just nothing like my boys. I can't imagine life without them. In Primary the kids told their teachers why their mom's were special and this was their responses:
Kade: You help me set up games and go to Gooseberry and go on bike rides.
Clint: You play games and watch movies with me!
Cole just gave me slobbery kisses and that made me feel special too.

4 Month Poses
Cole is now 4 months old and is still as sweet as ever. Though he talks often he doesn't do it constantly anymore. Every morning he has been so happy. I'll hear him in his bed playing and I'll go in and he just lights up. He kicks his legs, smiles a huge smile, Goos, and scrunches up his shoulders to his head[see pics.]. It's so hard not to squeeze him and kiss him when he's being so happy and excited. Kade and Clint love to get in his face and make him smile. I feel so bad when he gets scared and cries; I mostly feel bad for Kade and Clint though. They try so hard to make him smile and when he cries they look at me as if to ask if they're in trouble for making him cry. When he doesn't get scared by them though he smiles at them and talks. Kade often says in a sweet baby voice, "He's so cute."
Cole has abs of steel--underneath his chub. If you sit him propped up he'll do a constant crunch. He's been very slobbery lately(teeth coming maybe?). As you can see in the pictures he's figured out a trick where he sticks his tongue out, or he'll just do it with his lips, and blows bubbles[see pics.]. 4 Month Stats: height 23 3/4 inches, 15-20%; weight 12 lbs. 6 1/2 oz, 10%; head 42 cm, 45%. I need to take some pictures of his chubbiness; most wouldn't even call it chubby but for our babies it is.
