While waiting in the hotel lobby and saying goodbye Stephanie, Soon, and I had to take picture of of our sandals with our fun pedicures. We were getting ready to leave the warm life of Las Vegas and head back to Heber where the sandals don't shine-- right now anyway. The past few days we've been in Vegas for a Redmond leadership retreat. It was such a great time. Most people would focus on the fun day at the go-cart race track, the pedicures with the girls, the Titanic Exhibit, or the shopping but really it is the meetings and the people that make these retreats the BEST! I love the time to ponder new ideas, and to really evaluate my actions and choices. I always begrudgingly leave because I just want to have discussions daily! On a positive note, I always leave determined to be a better mom and person! Love Redmond!

Silly boy!
Just Clint being silly!
We were playing at the "duck pond" aka the Wasatch Mountain Park in Midway today. Clint was pretty proud of his new tooth so of course he needed me to take a picture-- something he asks me to do often.

Final Gym Meet for 2014 Season
Kade had his final gym meet for the year today. It was the Kalon Ludvigson Invitational in Salt Lake. Kade was so happy to have Grandma Brown, Jaxon, and Porter come to watch him. He loves the support! On one of his floor passes he got 10's from all the judges except one--wahoo!. We did get his numbers but because it was such a huge event we couldn't hear the announcer and the screen that showed it was very blurry from the stands so we only have his actual scores not what rank he took.
Here were his results:
Double mini level 5 age 9-10: score 53.3 (1st pass 27.8, 2nd pass 25.5)
Tramploine level 5 age 9-10: score 16.3
Floor level 4 age 9-10: score 56.2 (1st pass 27.9, 2nd pass 28.3)

We're Ready!
We were visiting my mom this weekend. We were all getting ready for bed when I hear Clint holler from the other room, "Mom we're ready for bed." We who? I wondered. I walked through the doorway to see this scene. Clint had laid the stuffed animals down in each of the little cupboards on the headboard. He comes up with the most clever things. :) Love him.

Giddy Up!
Cole loves when James and Alex Spencer get to come over. Their mom, Wendy, watches Cole when I work and Darryl is gone and so I watch them when she works one day a week.
Today the punching bag became a horse. They were laughing and seeming to have a great time even though they were crashing on each other and choking each other.
Les Miserable
Such a great night! We had the chance to go with a group of Redmond associates to dinner and then to Les Miserable at the Hale Theater in Salt Lake. It was INCREDIBLE! I have never left a play there disappointed and tonight exceeded my expectations. Their sets, costuming, acting, and singing were spot on. Oh, I want to go again! So thankful we got to go.

Brian Regan, Here We Come!
For a Redmond activity we went to see Brian Regan tonight. He's a super hilarious comedian. I love him because he seems to find humor in the everyday things we all do and he writes super funny jokes scenarios that just make everyone laugh. It's great to have someone that doesn't think you have to resort to crude topics to make everyone laugh. Oh I was so looking forward to tonight! Like they say, "Laughter is the best medicine!" Who couldn't use a night of laughing so hard you cry.
