Wolf Klondike Day Camp
It was remarkably cold today and the scouts definitely earned bonus points for enduring the frigid temperatures. They went to Deer Creek and played in the snow and learned a few things like how to make a make-shift gurney to haul an injured person on. It was a toss up for the favorite activity between the sled races and launching snowballs at the leaders. But the favorite station was definitely the hot chocolate station. It provided a moment of warmth, except for the poor boys who spilled theirs on their hands and it immediately froze to their skin. Nothing like a human fudgesicle!
