Awe!

Happy Anniversary!  Darryl was going to be gone tomorrow on our anniversary so he brought these beauties home with him today.  So thoughtful!  But wait!  It gets better!  There are 14 roses; one for each year we've been married and the white roses were for each of our kids.  So sweet.  It's not just the flowers, he really is a pretty incredible man.  Love him.

Hula-hoop!

Betcha can't guess what brag tag we earned today.  The school has a few hula-hoops in their toy box by the playground so they boys showed me their hula skills.  Pretty impressive.  While I was watching them memories of me on my school playground hula-hooping flooded my mind.  It's such a weird thing to process when I see them do things I did as a kid, merely because I just feel like they're never going to be old enough to do things that I did-- totally not logical but it's what my brain thinks.

My Collection

One of the brag tags was to start a collection.  Clint decided he wanted to start collecting computer chips.  He's tore apart all the devices he could without getting into trouble and then he posed with his humble collection.

Lil' Painter

We've been meaning to paint the corn hole boards that they made at the office for about a year.  Well we finally got to it today.  Cole loved painting and was a great little helper.  Even after there was a coat on everything Cole was still going at it.  He sure had those boards looking great.  Thanks for your help lil' buddy.  Thanks to Kade and Clint too.  I didn't get a photo of them but they rolled the boards all by themselves.  I love that my boys are learning to work.

Days Market Kids Day

We went to Days Market Kids Day where they have a lot of emergency vehicles out in their parking lot for the kids to go look at, climb through, and take pictures with.  You would think I would take their picture with a firetruck, or maybe the Life Flight helicopter, but nope!  I only took a picture of Cole with the otter pop they gave him.  It was almost as big as him-- had to get a picture of that.

Swimming Lessons 2015

I forgot the good camera again so this is the best we are going to get.  The first picture Kade and Clint are sitting on the wall.  The second and third pictures Cole is swimming with his teacher.  The last picture is more clear; cute Cole is smiling for the camera while his cute buddy Alex jumps in the shot. Kade and Clint looked so great swimming this week.  They are pretty fast and I think they're getting more smooth too.  It's fun to see them doing so well at it.  Today ended this round of swimming lessons.  Good work boys you really look awesome.

Tennis Workshop

This is another one of the favorite brag tag activities, the tennis workshop.  A local tennis coach, who is very awesome with the kids, offers an hour workshop for all these kids.  It's pretty genius because it exposes kids to a sport they may never consider playing just because they have had no experience playing it

Swimming and a Picnic

The boys are doing great at swimming lessons.  I haven't taken any pictures of Kade and Clint because we have to sit in the bleachers that are next to the ceiling and so they are so far away you can't even tell who they are, plus it is fairly dark in there as well--should have brought the good camera.  Cole is the guy in the middle next to the wall with his right arm out doing a swim stroke.  I was so worried about Cole freezing and not being willing to cooperate at lessons this year because we did lessons at the intermediate school pool which is pretty cold-- especially compared to Kamas. The boys never complained and seemed to really enjoy their teachers.  Their level system is different than Kamas' so I'm not sure what they are equivalent to but I had Kade and Clint in the Breaststroke and Backstroke class(they changed the name to Level 4) and they passed.  Cole was in the beginner course and though his teacher didn't pass him she said it was because he wouldn't put his face in the water, something he does all the time so I wasn't too worried.  In fact when we go play at the Kamas pool he'll sit on the bottom of the pool or swim around on the bottom holding his breath and blowing out air so I'm sure he's fine with going in the water. After lessons today we met up with the Spencers at the park for a picnic.  Kade looks a little tired, Clint looks a little hungry, and Cole looks a little silly.  The picnic earned the boys another brag tag which Clint was sure to point out.  Fun summer times.

Go Ninjas!

It is adorable that he is so enthusiastic about playing T-ball.  It is adorable that throughout game day he says how much fun he had playing.  It is so adorable to watch him run with all his might-- and his tongue hanging out.  It is adorable to see his cute little hands making "binoculars."  It is adorable to see him looking through his "binocular" while he's playing.  It is so adorable to see him giving his coaches high-fives.  Look at these pictures, not much you can say but adorable. I love this little ninja and I'm going to be sad when T-ball is over.

Livin' Out of the Car

We had so many different activities all around the same time this morning so the car ended up looking like a bomb went off.  We loaded up the car and headed out with a change of clothes and necessities for all the morning events.  I drank my breakfast shake on the was to drop Cole off at his T-ball game with his mitt and bat then headed to Wasatch Mountain State Park pond to drop Kade and Clint off at fishing club with their poles, tackle boxes, waters and chairs.  Then I headed back to the ball fields with the camera, and treats for Cole's team.  Darryl came to watch from work to watch Cole's game and take some great photos of Cole.  We watched the last of the game and then Cole and I headed to take Cole to fishing club.  After fishing club everyone jumped in the car and changed into their swimming suits and it was off to swimming lessons with their flip flops, towels, dry clothes, and goggles in hand.  Lessons finished and we were ready to go home and have lunch.  Phew! What a morning.
