Spooky Dinner

Tonight we introduced someone from Afghanistan to Spooky Dinner.  He was bewildered by the whole Halloween Holiday anyway.  He loved the spaghetti though.  His translator said it was the most he's eaten since he got here.  He was in the states visiting salt mines because he himself runs a salt mine.  We thought it would be fun to invite him to see what "life" was like for a family in the US.  It was such a great time asking him questions and learning about their life and culture.  He was so kind and gave us gifts when he was leaving.  He gave me a bracelet that has a turquoise stones on it that are pretty unique to Afghanistan.  He gave Darryl and Uncle Jay traditional hats.  They are wool so they are very warm but look a little strange on Darryl. :)   What a fun unique Spooky Dinner this year.
