Neighborhood T-Ball

The boys started T-ball today.  A lady that lives over by our area decided to put together a little T-ball league since the other option was so pathetic.  It has become a large league.  There are 8 teams this year.  I'm so glad we heard about it and signed up because the boys are loving it.  They expressed repeatedly before, during, and after the game how excited they were for the game, and how awesome playing was.  It was such a different experience from last year.  Kade really likes to get in and make plays.  Clint just likes to have the ball roll to his mitt.  They both are great runners and like to slide into home plate.  I feel a little bad about having Kade play sometimes.  The age limit is 6 but I didn't think he would stand out much and so they said it wasn't  a big deal.  However, there are times he definitely stands out.  He can hit really well when he connects and so I think everyone figures out quickly that he's not 6.  Clint has had some awesome hits too so maybe I'm just being paranoid for no reason.  The 3rd game they played I was so impressed.  The first 2 batters hit it to Kade who was playing Rover position.  He got the ball, turned and threw it to the 1st baseman, who caught it and got each of the batters out.  It was so fun to watch them really play the game.
