Rising to New Heights
The school has started a new tradition of "clapping out the 4th graders" on their last day of school. Everyone lined the hallways of the school and then the 4th graders paraded through the hallways and everyone clapped for them. Then they exited the building and they each got a balloon. They gathered on the playground and released them to symbolize them moving on to higher things. It was really a neat thing to be part of. I didn't have a 4th grader but I was still moved by it.
