We've been letting the chickens out lately. They get braver each week and explore more of the yard. I'm definitely not fond of their messes but they haven't been too bothersome yet. We enjoy watching those crazy ladies. They've come up onto the back porch a few times and looked through the window as if to say, "Is anybody home?" They've also made a mess of my basil pot; the basil no longer exists. I'm not sure if they ate it or just scratched it trying to find bugs.
