We were so excited when we noticed a pair of robins building a nest on our pergola. They had the nest built in about a day and Darryl got a ladder and looked in it a few days later and found eggs in it! They are fast! We had so much fun watching the mother sitting on her nest anticipating the eggs hatching. A couple weeks ago we noticed the mother leaving the nest regularly. She rarely left the nest before so we figured the eggs had hatched and she was getting food for them. It was so fun to watch her return and see their little beaks peak up out of the nest. What a fun show we've had outside our window.
