As kids we spent a lot of our summer time with the cousins hunting for peas in Grandma's garden in Koosharem. I also spent many summer afternoons shelling peas to freeze. Good Times!
I too have had good luck with my pea's this year. I planted some sweet pea's and my kids snack on them all day long. They just go into the garden and eat them. I planted regular pea's too that should be shelled but I can't get the kids to understand the difference. They eat them the same way. SUMMER = SWEET YUMMY PEAS
Yummy! Ours never make it to the shelling-freezing stage. All the neighbor kids help themselves so it is the shelling-eating phase. At least it is better than candy all summer!

Cute! I love fresh peas. When I was a kid I was told they were God's Candy. Yum!
